Boys Doubles and Girls Singles Allcomers
We had 2 very long days with Boys Doubles and Girls singles Allcomers at Meadowbrook Tennis courts.
The Nathan Hale tennis team should be proud of their performance.
On Thursday in Boys doubles we had 2 teams in the quarter-finals Martin Tran/Danny Thai and Kevin Ton/Omar Johnson with Martin and Danny in the Finals.
The best doubles match that I saw was in the Semi-Finals with Martin and Danny against Melvin and Quinn of West Seattle. The match seesawed back and forth with Nathan Hale taking the match in the tiebreak(7-3).
In Girls Singles we had 2 Semi-finalists Kay Dien Fox and Leah Allen. Leah placed 3rd over all and Kay Dien won the Tournament! Both semi-finals were great matches also.
Congratulations to the Nathan Hale Tennis Team!
A Big Shout Out to West Seattle Coach Catherine Thom for running the Tournament Desk and doing such a great job with her team. And Josh Kong for working with the players in the tournament, sharing his experience and lifting the moral of the boy players.
