Reid deLaubenfels Wins State Tennis Title. Reid is the first player in school history to ever win a state title. Reid dominated the State tournament with victories over all the top finishers. Reid defeated the 6th place finisher Anthony Litchfield 6-4, 6-0; the 5th place finisher Jordan Smith 6-0, 6-3; the 4th place finisher and the 2009 runner-up David Schuster 6-2, 6-2; the 3rd place finisher Taylor Hunt 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 during the SeaKing district tournament; Alex Wallace (3rd in 2009) in the finals 3-6, 6-2, 6-2. Reid is truly the champion.
Nathan Hale is now on the tennis map as the boy's tennis team took 4th in state powered by Reid's performance. Many teammates, friends and fans traveled to Vancouver Washington to witness the big event.
